Wayne Hall

Wayne Hall is a full-time artist with a studio located in Bucksport, ME. Before that, he lived in North Carolina, where he taught sculpture and rustic furniture design at Duke and North Carolina State Universities, and in South Carolina, he taught at Converse College and the University of South Carolina Spartanburg.

In Maine, in addition to the University of Maine, he has taught at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and the Ellsworth School System. He received an NEA/S.E.C.C.A. grant for his wood sculpture in 1977 and his sculpture, rustic furniture and drawings have been included in both national and regional exhibitions.
